On 1st Jan 2010, a another new website has been launched.
In technical terms, the website is fairly straight forward. What is different is the use of royalty-free images and fonts in the header-photo. By itself the photo of the bubble gave no impression of scale, it could have been 1cm wide on a kitchen table, but by pasting it into a background of obvious dimensions it makes the scene more interesting and will cause the viewer to look for the join. That's fine as it has stimulated their interest in the site.
The "out of the box" theme of the website (you will need to visit it to understand why) is visually reinforced by putting the picture above the top of the containing element.

In September I launched a new website for the Air Training Corps - an excellent youth and citizenship group based in Colchester.
If you compare this site to the Word 4 Weapons site you will see the layout is the same - but the content is different. This cuts down on the time taken to transform an idea into a online and ready to go site.
This site has all the features of the recent upgrade and perfectly fits the need of the target audience.

Another Christian based website launched free of charge.
This website is aimed at young people, their parents and potential sponsors. A difficult combination but it has come together in this project that has received positive feedback from a number of sources.
Several special features can be seen in the website: please take a look and see what you think. Remember, it is the visual impact that you are interested in rather than the content.
